Chapter 26

Nicholas

I’m in heaven.

Well, as close as it gets down here.

“Allie, you feel so good,” I say, and capture her mouth in a kiss.

I’m lost in the moment, in the perfect friction of Allie grinding against me. I thrust into her, again and again. We don’t need to be inside—we’re creating our own warmth. “Hold on to me,” I tell her. She does, grabbing my shoulders while I stand, lifting her up. Then, overcome by a need to fuck her against the chimney, I walk forward, still inside her, before pushing her back up against the brick of my chimney.

With a silky thigh in each hand, and her—gorgeous, curvy, wet, and ready—I plunge in further, angling her to receive me. Her eyes flutter shut as I find a faster rhythm, enjoying the way her whole body jerks every time I enter her.

“Yes, just like that,” she says, her eyes opening long enough to make sure I heard her over the fleshy slaps of our bodies.

“Whatever you want,” I promise, and that sentence has never been truer. I plunge into her again, marveling at her beauty, how perfect she looks naked in the early morning light, the whole city spread out behind her.

I feel myself getting close to release, and her breath grows heavier, coming in short, gusty bursts. She cries out, clutching my back as she comes, and I go faster, trying to prolong her pleasure.

With a Herculean effort, I return us to the blanket. Before long, I’m coming too. I slip out of her and spill my seed on her stomach, splashes of my come marking her as mine. I grab the edge of the blanket and clean her off. She snuggles against my chest like we are real lovers rather than—well, whatever this is.

“Did it work?” I murmur into her hair.

“Did what work?”

“Do you feel bonded to me now?”

I feel the curve of her smile against my chest.

She treats me like we weren’t strangers one week ago.

She treats me like I’m part of something now, part of her.

Allie’s soft and warm and pliant and responsive and all I can think about is more. I want more of her in my life. She’s luxury and decadence, abundance personified. But I’ve always been a greedy bastard, and she’s the best thing that’s ever come down my chimney.

Or come on my chimney.
